About the Role
We’re looking for a YouTube Strategist & Publisher who lives and breathes digital content. This role involves end-to-end management of multiple YouTube channels- from strategy and publishing to performance optimization and reporting. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative and analytical, with hands-on experience in YouTube content operations, audience growth, and trend analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy, Content Publishing & Optimization
Develop and execute data-driven strategies to grow viewership, engagement, and subscribers across multiple YouTube channels.
Manage day-to-day publishing operations — including scheduling, SEO optimization (titles, tags, thumbnails, metadata), and playlist organization.
Optimize every video for maximum visibility through effective thumbnails, keywords, descriptions, and CTAs.
Collaborate with creative, design, and editorial teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with campaign goals.
Implement SEO and discoverability best practices across all uploads.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze key metrics — views, watch time, CTR, audience retention, and subscriber growth — using YouTube Studio, VidIQ.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
Test and iterate video formats, titles, and thumbnails to improve performance.
Benchmark against competitor channels to identify opportunities for growth.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on YouTube management experience (brand, creator, or media network).
Expertise: In-depth understanding of YouTube analytics, SEO, audience growth, and monetization strategies.
Tools: Proficiency with YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, VidIQ and other social media management tools.
Skills:
Strong copywriting and metadata optimization skills.
Excellent understanding of content trends and audience behavior.
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Bonus: Experience managing multiple channels or working with entertainment, comedy, or crime-based content.
