SME and Strategist for Facebook Monetization

Digital Content & Revenue Division

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a results-driven SME and Strategist to own and grow the revenue performance of our Facebook Pages portfolio. You will be responsible for maximizing earnings across all pages, identifying untapped monetization opportunities, boosting RPM, achieving weekly and monthly revenue targets, and ensuring every page operates at its full earning potential. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Earnings Management & Page Oversight

Own end-to-end earnings management for all Facebook Pages in the portfolio — monitor, track, and optimize daily and weekly revenue performance.

Ensure all pages comply with Facebook Monetization Policies and Partner Monetization Standards to maintain eligibility and avoid demonetization.

Ensure every page earns at its full potential by proactively identifying and closing revenue gaps.

Work closely with Editors and Page managers and make sure to Implement new strategies.

Monetization Strategy & Stream Activation

Develop and execute best-in-class content monetization strategies tailored to each page niche, audience, and monetization eligibility.

Identify and activate all available monetization streams — In-Stream Ads, Facebook Reels Ads, Stars, Fan Subscriptions, Branded Content, and Performance Bonuses.

Research, qualify, and complete all available Facebook Bonus Programs (Reels Play Bonus, Stars Bonus, etc.) within required deadlines to maximize incentive payouts.

RPM Optimization & Revenue Analysis

Analyze RPM trends across pages and implement targeted strategies to improve CPM, engagement rate, and audience watch time to drive revenue growth.

Conduct regular page-by-page revenue audits using Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, and analytics tools to identify performance gaps and revenue leakage.

Identify cross-page and cross-platform monetization opportunities to diversify and expand revenue streams.

Content Strategy Collaboration

Collaborate closely with the content team, video editors, and social media managers to align content with high-monetization formats such as long-form video, Reels, and live streams.

Develop and present actionable revenue strategy recommendations — including content calendars, posting schedules, format tips, and audience growth tactics.

Support the team in building high-engagement content strategies that grow organic reach and attract higher-value ad inventories.

Target Achievement & Reporting

Set, track, and achieve weekly and monthly revenue targets per page; report results to leadership with clear performance commentary and next-week action plans.

Stay current with Facebook algorithm updates, monetization policy changes, and platform feature rollouts; brief the team on required actions proactively.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

2-4 years of hands-on experience managing Facebook Page monetization, preferably across a portfolio of multiple pages.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets on Facebook or similar social video platforms.

Deep understanding of Facebook monetization products: In-Stream Ads, Reels Ads, Stars, Fan Subscriptions, Bonus Programs, and Branded Content tools.

Strong analytical skills — ability to read Meta Business Suite and Creator Studio dashboards and interpret RPM, CPM, and CTR data.

Solid understanding of Facebook algorithm, content ranking signals, video watch time optimization, and audience retention strategies.

Experience working with content teams and the ability to brief creators on monetization-first content formats.

Excellent communication skills — can produce clear weekly revenue reports and present strategy recommendations to stakeholders.

Self-motivated with a strong ownership mindset — you treat page revenue as your own business.

Familiarity with Meta Partner Monetization Policies and Content Monetization Policies.

Bonus: Experience with YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram monetization strategies.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Achieve or exceed monthly revenue targets across all managed Facebook Pages consistently.

Ensure 100% completion rate of all eligible Facebook Bonus Programs within deadlines.

Demonstrate measurable RPM improvement quarter-over-quarter through documented optimizations.

Deliver weekly revenue performance reports with insights and next-week action plans.

Maintain zero monetization policy violations across all pages at all times.
